SRD Attribution & Licensing

DnD Calculator is compatible with fifth edition. Its calculators use game mechanics and terms published by Wizards of the Coast in the System Reference Documents, which are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

What we use

  • Rules for ability scores, hit points, attacks, spellcasting, carrying capacity, experience points and encounter building.
  • Class hit dice and spellcasting abilities, SRD races (2014) and SRD backgrounds (2024).
  • Creature names and challenge ratings from the SRD 5.1, used in the encounter calculator's monster picker.
  • Equipment names and weights, used in the carrying capacity calculator.
